Things I like about this bed: I like the low loft, the cute house shaped design, and stairs so that my son can climb up and down at night easily. I also like the storage under the top and middle stair.Things I don’t like: there’s no storage under the bottom step which is the largest amount of space, which is kind of a waste. I would also recommend skipping buying a bed with a slide entirely because while it’s a nice idea in theory, the design usually is more for a short slide which means that it’s a hard bump when you reach the bottom and the slide itself is not very long, so unless you have a really little kid using it, it loses its novelty really quickly. One last thing I would say is that I wish that the design of the bottom of the bed allowed for the bottom mattress to go either length wise or to jet out into the room like is shown in the description. This bed does not do both and that’s too bad.Took her father 6+ hrs by himself to put together. But it’s amazing! And we’ll worth it! She loves her lol slide. I’ll post a pic soon!took about Four hours to assemble with two people. Tools were included although i did need a screwdriver to hold the bolt in place while i turned the allen wrench. a ding or two on the psint job but nothing unexpected. My four year old loves it but did scratch herself on the corner of one of the steps! i hitb that corner with a hammer to round it and covered the other corner with a rubber corner cover. I think we will use this for the next 4-5 years.Received the bed quicker than expected, and customer service was fast to respond and very helpful. Very happy with the purchase.3 and 5 year old love it. As the parent, I find it easier than the full size bunks to change sheets/make bed. Kids really enjoy the slide and the steps make it safe die climbing. Placed baskets under the steps for their toys which was a added perk to have more storage space. Overall, would buy again!Well built, comfortable, the storage cubby fits a lot of books, and my 7 & 3 year old loooooove the slide. A win all around.Bought this for my boys and it assembled easily. Another review states that the stairs can be moved to either side- that is not true. It didn’t matter to us, but may matter to you.
