The only issue I had was the wood splitting when driving in the screws. Both sides were pre-drilled (and I had the right screws) but the wood split anyways. I applied professional wood glue ( should hold) overall a nice looking house shaped bed :) once assembled, very sturdy. How long will it last with a two year old? Only time will tell!We bought two of these beds for our kids as the younger one was transitioning out of his toddler bed. I don't think they were too difficult to assemble and the instructions seemed pretty clear, but we opened the first box, pulled out all the pieces, and decided to punt and pay someone else to assemble them. A guy we use for handyman work put them both together in a couple hours. They're very cute and we decorated them with sheer fabric for canopies and fairy lights to make them extra fun.However, what I didn't give much thought to before buying them was how much more difficult it is to change the sheets and make the beds. You basically have to lift the mattress out to put the fitted sheet on and tucking in the top sheet and comforter is a PITA. When I'm tucking the kids in or getting into and out of the beds with them, I keep bumping my head on the roof or the roof railings (they're pretty low). And all those railings and that roof require dusting, which didn't occur to me when buying them, but of course they need to be dusted. Honestly, they're a bit of a pain in the hindquarters, but the kids LOOOVE them so I'll be fine with the extra work for as long as they're happy in these beds.Very pretty, my girls loved it. It does bend when my 2 yr old hangs from the side rail, it’s not the most sturdy but it works and it’s really pretty. I like how there’s that little middle divider so they are together but not sleeping together. I just hope the side rail doesn’t break soon but overall a thumbs up!Absolutely love this bed and my two year old daughter does too. Definitely recommendOverall my wife and daughter love it. I had some struggles with assembly (especially with the bed rails and lining up the hex bolts) but put it together in about 1.5 hours aside from a few chips from shipping , looks great and we are already looking to find lights and pillows to dress it up.This was set up at my moms house so that she can either have my twin boys or my brothers kids. All parts included in shipment. Some parts were little scratch and one had a chip part which I will contact seller. The instructions are pretty simple but I do have to say the drawing and some of the parts were not label right but was able to figure it out by putting one and one. I give it a 4 based on those effects and parts scratch and chip but would recommend it!easy to assemble, very sturdy! Loved seeing my granddaughters eyes light up when she saw it!
