Pros:It is a pretty bed, and inexpensive, and doesn't seem or look cheap. It is also fun and easy to put together.I don't know for sure about sturdiness (since I haven't even slept on it yet), but it does seem quite sturdy.Cons:It recommends that you have a box spring, but it's not actually made for that, unless you have a thin box spring and a thin mattress. Otherwise, you cover up the design of the headboard. They could easily have made it a bed that doesn't require a box spring at all. Honestly, the headboard just should be higher-- with my mattress (which is about 10-11" thick/tall), the headboard is partially covered just from putting sheets and a blanket on. It's really too bad, because it's such a pretty headboard.Worse than that, the screws are made of steel, unpainted. That shows up pretty bad against the gold. It would've been easy for them to paint the tops to make it look better. I didn't use the unpainted steel discs (which didn't fit the rounded parts all that well for mine), but those would exacerbate the problem by a lot. Good thing I didn't use them.
