This bed was extremely difficult to put together. The directions are not very clear, they're hard to interpret and to top it off- some of the holes aren't drilled through all the way. My dad grew up Amish and has worked with wood his entire life. I trusted him to put this bed together and without him, we never would have been able to put this bed together or been able to make this work! If you aren't knowledgeable with wood, tools or know how to make things line up properly to align, I would not recommend buying this bed! It took us 16 hours with the two of us putting it together within a matter of 2 days. (My dad is almost 70 and I'm 33… it was just a lot of work!) As we started assembling the bed, we realized that on one of the footboards there was a pre-drilled hole that wasn't drilled through far enough and there was a large deep crack in it. I called Amazon immediately and they sent me a full replacement bed with no questions asked. (There was no way I was going to use a footboard with a large deep crack in it!) I'm glad they did because as we put the entire bed together, we came to the realization we were missing several pieces of hardware as well as 4 pieces to the bed in my original box!Pros:-3 cabinets in the steps for storage- 1 drawer between the bottom twin beds- 1 "desk/table top" for stuffed animals/blankets on the top bunk- The overall height of the bed isn't that tall so there is plenty of space between the top bunk and the ceiling- Overall this is just the coolest bed if you're a kid! It will make for some awesome fort building!Cons:Horrible instructions can be difficult to interpret, therefore it makes it more time consuming to assemble.-Hardware is poorly labeled and mixed with other hardware pieces.-Missing hardware and missing pieces to the bedI also want to add, this only comes with an allen wrench. My dad had an impact drill with bits that would fit the allen… I couldn't imagine not having the proper tools because hand cranking on this thing would have been a nightmare.My ratings stand due to everything I have stated. Overall this is a solid, safe bed and well constructed IF you know what you're doing as I stated. Just beware- the manufacturer did not pre drill every hole all the way through, some things don't line up precisely and if you don't know what you're doing this might not be safe for your children!So, first off -- our bed didn't come with assembly instructions! Since my husband and I are pretty savvy, this wasn't a real problem for us, but might be an issue for others (be warned). Other than that, the quality is good, assembly was easy and intuitive (thankfully, haha). A couple pieces were a bit dinged up, but for the price I wasn't expecting it to be immaculate. The kids LOVE it and I'm really happy with it. Would have given five stars, except for the instructions.Unfortunately the ladder came damaged. Can’t contact seller for replacement. Other then that. Las gavetas van en el piso nada las sostiene, eso deberían de decirlo en la descripción, o nose si lo decía y no vi, pero no me gusta porque es bien incomodo.
