We needed to buy 3 beds for our kids, and didn’t want to spend a ton of money. So we went with these metal beds for our 4 & 9 year old girls who are sharing a room. 1) they’re really pretty, especially if you paint them (the paint will cover the silver metal bolts on the footboard) 2) my husband put them together and he said there were lots of parts, so just be prepared. 3) one of the beds came scraped up and bent on the footboard arch. We had to use pliers and metal tools to bend the metal back in place, which in turn scraped up the white paint even more than it already was. Because we are surprising our kids with this bedroom overhaul, we did not have time to wait for another shipment and return the damaged bed. So we have to just live with it, but the spray paint covered all of the scratches. It’s just a little dinged up now.Overall assessment - good style & quality for the money and would recommend to others if you receive a bed without defects ??
